A Northamptonshire Nursing Home
The challenge: Built over a hundred years ago and set in four acres of its own landscaped grounds, the property had been the home to some of the most eminent families in the region.
The home was off mains gas and running on oil boilers to provide heat and hot water for the nursing home. The challenge was to reduce their heating bills looking at what renewable energy options were available. To carefully install not affecting the period setting of the property.
The boiler house and pellet fuel store were to be located away from the main property to give easy access for fuel delivery and minimal disruption to the home throughout the installation process. The solution:
Our experienced installation team at Utility Trade worked closely with the owner and her team by installing a 330KW Biomass Heating System, to reduce running costs and carbon emissions at the same time as benefiting from the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
The annual benefits:
Savings vs Oil Bill £9,234 per annum
Commercial RHI Payment £34,960 per annum
Total benefit of system £43,341 per annum*
