Rishi Sunak Announces £3bn Package for Energy Efficient Homes
Utility Trade Group are delighted to announce the Government’s plan to help British homeowners make their houses more energy efficient.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak has unveiled a £3bn package to support homeowners in their bid to do their bit in the net zero goal.
£10,000 will be made available for some of the lower income households in the UK in part of a Green Homes Grant scheme, with improvements to energy efficiency being at the forefront of its purpose. Furthermore, the scheme will boost the economy within the relevant trades, as those working in the construction sector likely to see increases in demand for their services.
As a proud provider of renewable energy initiatives, Utility Trade Group are delighted with the initiative – we believe it is a comprehensive plan that has energy recovery at its heart. The grant provides easier access to all aspects of renewable energy for households across the UK, including the whole host of solutions that we offer – Solar PV, Far Infrared Heating, LED Lighting and much more.
The scheme is a world-leading initiative, and one that is designed to help households not only reduce their carbon footprint, but their costs too. It is split into two, with £2bn promised for green homes, and the remaining £1bn for insulating public buildings – meaning the scheme has exceptional benefits for both domestic and commercial users alike.
In addition to assisting you with access to the grant, Utility Trade Group can assist with a whole array of financial solutions designed to reduce the initial outlay on renewable energy resources for both businesses and households alike. Furthermore, we can guide you through the process and give educated advice on which is the best solution and financial package for you – designed to help you reduce costs and lower your carbon footprint in the long run.
More information will be available as the scheme is rolled out in September, but this is a fantastic solution that will help us all do our bit in achieving the net zero goal.
